Duration of different types of Vietnam visas

Vietnam has many types of visas issued depending on the purpose of entry, so the duration also varies

Vietnam visa duration
1. SQ visa is valid for no more than 30 days.
2. Visa symbols HN, DL. EV has a term of no more than 03 months.
3. VR visa is valid for no more than 6 months.
4. Visa symbols NG1, NG2, NG3, NG4, LV1, LV2, DT4, DN1, DN2, NN1,
NN2, NN3, DH, PV1, PV2 and TT have a term of no more than 12 months.
5. Visas labeled LD1, LD2 are valid for no more than 02 years.
5a. Visa code DT3 is valid for no more than 3 years.
6. Visas with symbols LS, DT1, DT2 are valid for no more than 5 years.
7. When the visa expires, you will be considered for a new visa.
8. Visa validity is shorter than the validity of a passport or valid travel document
International at least 30 days.
9. In case an international treaty to which Vietnam is a member has different provisions, the visa validity period shall comply with the international treaty.
